A Inspiring Quote On Pain & Strength
The Pain You Feel Today Will Be The Strength You Feel Tomorrow

When times get tough, we get tougher. We just don’t always realise it at the time. With or without chronic illness, challenges can take their toll on anyone. From chronic pain, a myriad of illness symptoms, migraines, exhaustion, difficult life-events and relationship difficulties, to endless everyday stresses & frustrations, it can be overwhelming.
But we cope, we manage, we get through flares and the darker days. And we learn, we grow, and we get that little bit stronger each time. That strength will carry you through for the next challenge. Even when you don’t think you can, you will get through it. One day at a time.
Your pain and your struggles today will be the strength that keeps you going tomorrow.

Great motivational advice! Hopefully the year is filled with far more “up” days than “down” ones!
Cheers to that! Thanks John, glad you liked it. I hope you have a good week! =]
Thanks for the reminder!
My pleasure. Take care Bonnie, I hope the week ahead is a good one for you xx
A positive way to look at things. Love it.
Have a fabulous day and week, my friend. ♥
A little positivity can go a long way! Thanks lovely – I hope the week ahead is kind to you xx
Very well said and so true!

Great post. I often tell people they truly don’t know how strong they are.
Great motivation.
I’m glad you tell them that, they need to hear it. Really pleased you liked the post =]
You are brilliant
Not sure brilliant is the word I would use but I hope that means you liked the post! Thanks Cat, have a lovely week =]
xx
You’re so right, Caz., but how easy is it for us to forget it. Experiencing challenges and surviving is how we learn resilience. I think I needed the reminder today, thank you.
Very easy indeed, a little reminder every now and then is needed, I feel, for most of us. I’m glad you liked the post. Have a lovely week ahead, Julie.xx
So true, Caz!
The times when I’ve suffered illness, although probably the hardest times in my life, have also been the times when I’ve been strengthened the most.
I love your pragmatic take on life; it is so refreshing!
xoxoxo
I’m glad you can see the strength you’ve gained through those tough times with illness, Carolyn. It can be hard to see the positives from such times, but they’re there, if we can eek them out. We learn, we grow, we get stronger. Thank you for the wonderful comment ♥ Have a lovely weekend.xx
Wise words, Caz. Adversity makes us stronger, there’s no question – it’s coming through the bad times that makes you realise you can handle anything life throws at you.
Spot on, Liz. Thanks for the comment! Have a lovely weekend =]
You too, Caz 🙂
This is so true. Something to bookmark and save for those days when everything feels like too much effort. We get through it, and the next day is a new day – with its own challenges perhaps, but we are often so much stronger than we think XX
Precisely, we take that strength with us for the new challenges, one day at a time. I think we all need this reminder from time to time. Thanks, Kirsty – I hope you have a lovely weekend ahead 🙂
xx
One day at a time, that’s how we get through!
Exactly, baby steps. We only need to manage each day as it comes ♥
You’re absolutely right Caz! Whether we realize it or not, every day marked by pain, every struggle we go through, and every setback we encounter makes us stronger. Thank you for such a beautiful reminder that we don’t need strength for all the days ahead; we just need enough strength for one day at a time. Hugs!
Exactly, one day at a time. Thanks Terri, you’ve summed this up perfectly! ♥
Great post Caz ????
Thanks, glad you liked it lovely =]

this is so true – if we love ourselves, then we don’t begrudge our history that has shaped us
That’s a very good way of putting it, so we don’t begrudge the history that has shaped us ♥

I can see your comment, Erin – I always try to ‘like’ and reply, it can just take me a little while sometimes. If anything goes to spam or pending, I check those too 🙂 Thanks lovely – I can’t believe the numbers are creeping up! Sometimes that silver lining is hard to see, but it’s there, even if we have to squint. Have a good rest of your week ♥
