Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2026!

How has your 2025 been? As we approach Christmas yet again and consider the start of a new year, it can be a time of mixed emotions.

Please be kind to yourselves over the festive season. If things get tough, please don’t go it alone. 💜 Reach out if you need to, whether it’s to a friend, colleague, your doctor, online forum or a family member.

If you live with chronic illness, chronic pain and/or other disability, Christmas can be that much more of a challenge. Take your time, ensure to pace, respect your boundaries, and celebrate the small wins. Acknowledge your own efforts rather than berate yourself for all you’ve not managed to do. This is so much easier said than done when things get overwhelming and your to-do list is never-ending, but it’s also so important.

While it may not look how you’d like or expect it to, I hope you can all find a little comfort and warmth over the festive holidays. Do what you need to do to manage, but beyond that I really hope we can all find a little joy and something to smile about where we can, whenever we can.
