Shopping isn’t at the forefront of my mind lately, nor will it be for many of us I don’t imagine. However, I’m always looking for ways to save money and get a better deal, especially given difficult this year has been financially. Black Friday doesn’t always dish up many gems, but there are a few decent finds to be had, whether you’re looking for yourself, the home or Christmas gifts. Now might be the time to replace the broken toaster, upgrade your laptop or stock up on skincare.
Here’s a run-down of some of the brands participating in Black Friday 2020 & what they’re offering.

Converse
There’s 40% off a bunch of styles at Converse, footwear and clothing for men, women and kids. I love Converse trainers and have got through quite a few pairs of low tops and high tops since my teens. The comfiest & trainers ever, or at least in my opinion, and I’m always right!
You can currently get 40% off selected styles using the code FASHIONFAVES at the checkout.
There are also styles reduced in the outlet. Use code SAVEMORE to get another 20% off.
It’s free delivery on orders over £50, with free returns. Check out the full Converse range here.

A very funky version of Cluedo for The Nightmare Before Christmas fans is available at IWOOT (I Want One Of Those). Apple Store
Apple don’t really ‘do’ Black Friday, at least not in the way of any discounts. But they have confirmed they’ll be participating this year as they did last year, with gift cards being given out with the purchase of certain items, like MacBooks. They offer free home delivery so you can stay safe at home as your gear arrives.
Superdrug Sales (UK)
Superdrug have various offers on for the Black Friday sales at the moment, from up to 50% off fragrances to discounts on electricals and Christmas gift sets.
They’re also offering £10 off when you spend £60 using the code BFSAVE10, which ends 1st December. Take a look at what’s on offer at Superdrug here.
HostPresto Blog / Website Hosting Discounts (Worldwide)
HostPresto offer very reasonable prices for blog or website hosting and domain names. I use them and have been pleased with the cost, uptime and customer service, especially when compared to competitors.
They’re currently offering the first month of hosting for only £1 as a Black Friday special. Select your HostPresto package here and enter the code 1POUND at the checkout.
Alternatively, you can get a whopping 60% off the HostPreto Mega package using this link and entering the code IMPRESTO at the checkout, which could get you cheap but impressive hosting. Discount is available until Tuesday 1st December.

There are lots of sales going on at the moment so this is just a taster. Remember, be smart with your purchase(s), compare prices and make sure you can afford it. It’s a good time to make use of sales and discount codes for things you need, want to treat yourself to or want to get for Christmas gifts. I’ve kept this post quite generalised and I’ll update it on the day, so check back for new offers.

Great ideas. We are already done with Christmas shopping. We just buy for our grands and great grands. They choose what they want and we ship it to them. Easy.
Have a fabulous day, Caz. ♥
I bet businesses are hoping for a busy black Friday.
Terrific ideas! For anyone who doesn’t have a dot, they are terrific! All the music you could ask for – you just ask for it!
Although shopping is not at the forefront of my mind either this year, I am appreciating the deals you posted here, I love the converse 🙂 Amazon music deal is great 🙂 great ideas, happy shopping 🙂
I use Kindle all the time so why am I so suspicious of Kindle unlimited? Hm…
Hahah I get suspicious of anything that sounds too good. I’ve tried Kindle Unlimited earlier this year (after reading my FIRST Kindle book ever) and I thought it was really decent for what you get, but that was a freebie trial so it was even better ???? xx
Terrific list Caz, thanks very much x
Those Converse are so cute!!
I love Converse. I have a few pairs but could go crazy with all the colors and pattern choices along with the design your own option!
These are great, Caz! I didn’t realize Black Friday existed in other countries!!! Of course it does! Just that I associate it with Thanksgiving. How fun! I never have much participated but man, those friends of mine who do really save some serious money!!! Now that it’s online, I dabble. Thank You for these suggestions!!! Cheers and huge hugs to You!!! ????❤️????
Oh, Caz, what a brilliant list. I always seem to buy something, then it goes on sale lol. I was ordering a jacket recently and had to stop myself because I knew it would be reduced during the Black Friday sales. There are some great savings to be had.
Charlee: “Our Dada got an email from Apple about their Black Friday gift card deal so he made plans to buy our Mama a new MacBook Pro M1.”
Chaplin: “Yeah, but then when the event started it turned out that the gift card offer didn’t apply to the new MacBooks!”
Lulu: “So what did he do?”
Charlee: “Well he got Mama a new MacBook Pro M1 anyway, of course.”
Lulu: “So … who got any benefit from Black Friday, then?”
Chaplin: “Apple did.”
Lulu: “Oh. Well that’s good. They sure do need the money.”
I love my Converse!
I always assumed Black Friday was just a ridiculous American tradition. Do you guys also have Black Friday in the UK?
Some great offers. My inbox nearly died with the number of not-to-be missed offers!
