Samson is a two-year-old golden retriever, Cleo is a little six-month old kitten, and they live together in New York. These two have become best buds, with the pair napping and travelling together, and Samson even grooming Cleo after dinnertime. This cute and inseparable cat and dog pair are proof that opposites can attract.

Awful Taste But Good Execution
Bored Panda has collated more excellent images that capture the essence of awful taste and strange designs, but where attention to detail has been paid in their execution.
To give a very small sample, check out this bathroom in Shinjuku, Japan. This creepy giant head isn’t fixed in place. It actually comes to life when you sit on the toilet, with the face singing some strange drunken song and moving towards you gradually so that the room starts to get smaller and smaller and the lips ‘kiss’ your now rather nervous knees. Not for those with claustrophobia!
I’m not sure Nancy Sinatra had these particular boots in mind.
This might be taking “natural” beauty products a step too far.

Good thing I had finished drinking coffee before reading these. The traffic lines particularly! “You have only ONE job; just keep the machine anchored to the truck!” ???? And of us 5%ers, all of us agree expect one, so now I guess we’re down to 3%.

I am going to save this post to show my friend tomorrow the cat who likee its back scratched. I was laughing hilariously as the owner in the video who scratched the cats back.
Its not surprising to see a cat and dog close, like that.
My first cat I had, loved my dog, when I had one later. She would follow him around the house, rubbing her face on his.
I even found her to be following me one day on a dog walk, so she could walk with him. That situation did make me nervous though, because it worried about coming across other dogs who’s natural reaction would have been to chase. So I did make sure she did not walk with us,on further walks.
Over the road, a neighbour owned a cat and a dog. They all would come over to the pub together.
The cat having his back scratched is brilliant, isn’t it? I’ve never seen anything like it. What a funny, cute little dude ???? I hope your friend enjoys it too!
It’s so sweet your old cat and dog got on so well, and with how she’d follow you around on a dog walk ???? So the cat came first, then the dog came later? I have longed for a golden retriever for a few years not but I don’t think it’ll ever happen, and I ‘m not sure Virgil would take too kindly to a younger but bigger brother either.

I love Samson and Cleo. They are sooooo sweet. My old cat and dog were best buddies too. They often cosied up on a chair together, sometimes the cat sat on the dog’s back. I think they both wanted the chair and neither would give in, so they realised they’d have to share.
I’m sorry you were in need of a little lightness but I hope they brought a smile, even a little one. I bet Kip is the best for doing that though. It’s so sweet your old cat & dog were so close. It’s nice hearing stories like this – I still dearly want a golden retriever but I don’t think it’ll happen in my lifetime, and I’m not sure Virgil would be too keen on finding he’s no longer the only child. Maybe he’d learn to share like yours did. Maybe. Stranger things have happened!
