2018 – There you are!
It’s a New Year, and with that a new blog, too! What do you think of the changes? I’m still playing around with it but I’d love to hear your thoughts (positive and negative, or any suggestions).
I’m not doing “New Year resolutions” per se, but there are some things I’d like to do, a few things I’d like to change, and a couple of ticks I’d like to make on my bucket list. I think there’s too much pressure with the New Year mindset to make big changes and reinvent yourself and your life, when we have enough pressures as it is. It’s important to take stock and get a little perspective to figure out what’s important to you and where your priorities should lie for the year ahead.
It’s also important to try to be flexible and prepare yourself for the unknown, because you know what they say about “best laid plans”… a pigeon will always come along and poop all over you, so sometimes you just have to go with the flow and make the best of it. How is your 2018 looking so far?
I want to wish everyone a happier, healthier 2018 – Have hope, because things can get brighter.
Caz ♥

Aww I love the new layout of your blog, Caz! <3 Happy New Year to you 🙂 xxx
Aw that’s awesome, glad you like it! Thanks Maggie 🙂 xx
You’re welcome! <3
the changes look great to me! 😀 Wishing you and yours a happy new year <3
Glad you think so – thanks for stopping by and for the lovely comment 🙂
Wow. Definitely a new look! I’m trying to look around, there is a lot to look at! Fun ideas! Happy HAPPY New Year, CAZ!~Kim
It is quite “busy” with the images and links. Do you think it’s a bit too much? I want it accessible for everyone and not overwhelming to look at. Thanks for the positivity and lovely comment as always Kim! 🙂 xx
I think it’s sharp! Well done.
Happy new year, digging the new look?
Glad you dig it, that makes me happy! x
I love your layout Caz, nice and clean…. I don’t make New Year’s resolutions either, but I do update my goals and set some new ones if needed. Wishing you a happy, healthy, and hopeful new year!
I think that goals, then re-evaluating them as you go, is a very sensible way of moving forward, and it feels less pressured than the whole notion of resolutions. Thank you for the great comment Terri – I hope 2018 is a good one for you! 🙂 x
I’m still working on that “best laid plans” thing….

I think I’ll be forever working on it…!
Wishing you all the best for 2018 🙂
Thank you.
Great new look Caz! Change can be a great thing! I honestly do not believe in New Year’s resolution because they add too much pressure! Living with MS, I really update my goals based on how I am feeling daily with hopes things will improve. I wish you a very Happy and healthy New Year!!!
I think that’s a far more reasonable, realistic thing to do, taking things day by day and updating as you go. You really do need to listen to your body and adjust accordingly rather than try to force yourself into ready made plans and resolutions (especially with all the added pressure). So glad you like the new theme!
All the best for 2018 lovely 🙂
x
Thank you! I do believe listening to your body and adjusting plans accordingly! You and I are always on the same page! You are brilliant!!
I wish you much happiness and good health for 2018!! Much love to you!!
Love the new look and look forward to following along. X
Thanks! I’m also following you so hopefully we can keep in touch. Thanks for taking the time to comment 🙂
Looks great!!
Let us know whats in your bucket list! I’m always interested in what people want to do and have planned. 2018 will be a great year I’m sure.

I really do need to sit down and give some proper thought to this year, though I’m pretty sure a lot on my bucket list will be taken from last year’s list!
Thank you for the lovely comment – I hope 2018 good to you! 🙂
Liking the new theme/colours on your blog 🙂 I agree that reassessing your priorities and making a few small changes here and there is more manageable than trying to keep on top of a stack of New Year’s Resolutions. Happy New Year, Caz!
Aw that’s awesome, thanks! 🙂
Love the new theme, it works really well. Happy New Year!
Really pleased to hear you think so, thank you! 🙂

Happy New Year to you too, Caz! Love your new look. I wish you well and pray all your pigeons are shooed away… or shot 😉 (hope that doesn’t sound cruel). Love your attitude.
Thank you – we need more pigeon protection in the world! Glad you like the new theme. Have a great week Gail! 🙂

I LOVE it! Clean, simple and easy to navigate! And the simplicity gives it so much beauty. All the web-designers are advising a clean, stream-lined look as best. So you have nailed it. Happy 2018! Praying yours is blessed with improved health and all the love that you so clearly deserve! <3
I’m so happy to read this, thank you! Such a lovely comment, I really appreciate it. Here’s to a fantastic 2018 for you Lynn! x
Blog looks good. I love changing things up – it’s like redecorating.
Can’t beat a little redecorating! Glad you like it – thanks for the comment =]
I can’t really see the new look from my phone so I’ll come back and visit once I get a new computer. Wishing you a very happy 2018!
I read your post that you’ve bought one – bet you can’t wait to receive it after all this time! 🙂
Love the look! I am having trouble getting the “like” button to load, I hope that is only on my end 🙂
I think the “like” button is a little glitchy, seems you often need to refresh the page to get it to appear (I’ve found this on some other blogs too). I’ve asked Pipdig if there’s anything that can be done about it – Thanks! 🙂
I like the new look, too. Have a great 2018! I just started following you, but I found lots of useful information that make living with chronic illness easier. Thank you for that.
Greetings from Germany,
Viola
Thank you, I’m glad you like it! It’s great you stopped by as I’ve just discovered & started following your blog too. Greetings Germany, from a cold & rainy UK! 🙂 x
Your blog looks fab! I seriously need to do some work on mine, but as the technical bits are not my favourite thing, it tends to take a back seat!! I totally agree with what you say about New Year resolutions. I haven’t set any either but have a few little things I’d like to work on! Wishing you all the best for 2018, and here’s to hoping we avoid those pigeons! ?x
Thank you, I’m glad you like it! I had put off buying a theme for ages but actually it’s far easier that modifying the free themes. I’ll look forward to reading a bit more about the things you want to work on throughout the year! 🙂

Love the new look! It’s fun to refresh things and a way of honoring all of the beautiful work you’ve accomplished here!
That is such a lovely thing to say, thank you Bonnie! 🙂
Happy New Year! <3 Digging the new look! 😀
Happy 2018! I like your words at the end about keeping hope ♥
