I’ve come to love Kindle as a result of the pandemic with libraries closed. And I also thought it was pretty decent of Netflix to offer up a few things for free as a gesture (admittedly designed to get people to sign up, but still, free is free). I hope you’re doing as well as possible lovely ???? xx

A great list of entertainment on the cheap! If you haven’t seen “Bird Box”, watch it now! And “Stranger Things” is terrific as well!

I’m glad you liked the frugal picks, John. I thoroughly enjoyed Bird Box the novel (which I’d recommend if you haven’t already read it) and the film was great too, pretty novel as far as a premise goes. I’ve still got the latest season of Stranger Things to look forward to ???? I hope you’re having yourself a great weekend! x

Thanks for this list! Really interesting. Check out the Google Digital Garage as well– they have some interesting free courses and certifications (similar to Udemy!). I’ve been looking at their digital marketing certificate.

Are you going to give the Digital Marketing one a try? I hope you enjoy it if you do. I might join you with that one! Thanks for sharing this ???? xx

It’s such a prominent title in the self-help niche, so it’s an excellent opportunity to read it (or re-read it!) for free. Thanks for the comment, Masha. I hope you’re having a restful weekend yourself ???? xx

We just canceled streaming Netflix in order to save a little money (kept the disc delivery service for now, though), so it’s good to know there’s a little bit of free content available from them!

Sounds like a wise move to save some pennies if you can get entertainment elsewhere for a little while. I know it’s their attempt to attract more users, but the gesture to make a few things available for free is going to be welcome by those on a budget, so I think it’s great. I didn’t know they still did disc delivery, maybe that’s just a US thing. Streaming is incredible and so convenient, but I still really miss the days of VHS and DVD rental stores! x

You truly are amazing Caz and always have some of the best advice! Thank you so much for providing us with this great information. I absolutely LOVE Kindle. It is the best way to read the books we want and not have tons to store. If I had a real book for every book I have read I could make a few walls! Hmm, maybe that would help the moron in office in the states:) Just teasing!!

Terrific finds Caz! I already subscribe to Netflix but this is a nice reminder of the original content I have access to. The new season of “The Boys” just started. Its about dysfunctional super heroes. I hope its available in the UK. I did get my Kindle freebie ” How to win and influence people.” I would have missed this one, if not for your -Fun Frugal Fridays. There is something for everyone- Feel fell to use that line at no cost to you. ☺️

Oooh, this was a lot of fun, Caz! Thanks for offering up some serious goodies. I keep eyeing those Udemy classes. Online learning can be a lot of fun with quality courses. Who doesn’t like learning something new that interests them? Free — oh yeah, even better! πŸ˜€

I love the Disney freebies too. Quite a few of my relatives really enjoy Disney, so I bet they’d love that. I’ll have to let them know! πŸ™‚
