Monday Motivation : Today’s Pain, Tomorrow’s Strength

When times get tough, we get tougher. We just don’t always realise it at the time. With or without chronic illness, challenges can take their toll on anyone. From chronic pain, a myriad of illness symptoms, migraines, exhaustion, difficult life-events and relationship difficulties, to endless everyday stresses & frustrations, it can be overwhelming.

But we cope, we manage, we get through flares and the darker days. And we learn, we grow, and we get that little bit stronger each time. That strength will carry you through for the next challenge. Even when you don’t think you can, you will get through it. One day at a time. Your pain and your struggles today will be the strength that keeps you going tomorrow.

    The times when I’ve suffered illness, although probably the hardest times in my life, have also been the times when I’ve been strengthened the most.

    This is so true. Something to bookmark and save for those days when everything feels like too much effort. We get through it, and the next day is a new day – with its own challenges perhaps, but we are often so much stronger than we think XX

    i get your blog.i have m.e .migraines long list health issues /people never see the every day effects .i take part in a lot]
    lot research .people i find are very Snotty Nosed with there views /judgements pain they do NOT have or see
