Merry Christmas!

by InvisiblyMe
Three reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh against a dark blue sky as they travel past the moon. Beneath it reads : Merry Christmas and All That Jazz!

Christmas is dawning on us again for those who celebrate it, whether we like it or not fellow festive-lovers and Grinchies.

Christmas Is Here!

It’s a different experience for everyone at this time of year. It can be joyous, fun and family-oriented. It can be a time of stress, mental health challenges, worries, bereavement, ill health, loss and loneliness. If you know someone who you’ve not heard from in a while or who may be struggling, please do reach out to say hello and see how they are because these small things can make all the difference.

Seeking Support At Christmas

Please do seek a little support if you’re struggling, whether that’s a friend, family member, partner, online support group, Facebook group, the blogging community or a professional. You should be able to find (thank you, Google) services & charities near you that can help, but here are a few contacts for those in the UK :

The Samaritans – 116 123 / samaritans.org/how-we-can-help-you/contact-us

Mind – 0300 123 3393 / mind.org.uk/information-support/helplines/

Wishing You All A Merry Christmas

Now that I’m feeling a little better, I’ll be hitting the chocolate and cheesy Christmas songs, battling away the inner Grinch while wrestling with the Sellotape and wrapping paper. I hope I bought wrapping paper… (fibro brain strikes again!) Take care of yourselves, try not to over-stress things, pace yourselves, and remember what’s important to you this Christmas so that you focus on the things that matter. ????

For now, I’d like you wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope it’s as healthy, happy, blessed and lovely as possible, and that whatever your situation you can enjoy what you can and find things to cherish and appreciate. Love to you all!

Caz ♥

Merry Christmas! I have come down with a cold and have been feeling rundown, but have been using the time to find cheesy holiday movies to watch. There’s something about an oversimplistic and unrealistic Christmas movie that fills me with joy. 🙂

Sending Chrissy greetings to you, Caz. 🙂
Wishing you a healthy Christmas. Watch out for the chocolate grinch – you know the one who resides deep inside us telling us too much of a good thing is not good… But, it’s Christmas; I reply.
Oh okay – I’ll take it easy on the chocolate.
Geez; don’t we ever get to have fun??? Maybe just a little then!!! Phew; thought I was going to miss out altogether!
Merry Christmas, Caz… 🙂

Great idea to put the helpline numbers in your post too. I shared them in my facebook support group over the festive season too, as it’s good to remember not everyone finds that time of the year easy. But I hope it was a lovely Christmas for you Caz & you are having a nice new year so far… (and as you go along and maybe discover your focus word 😉 lol).

It is good to remember there’s help out there & that many people struggle over the festive season. Thank you so much for the lovely comment – I’ve got my 2018 review / 2019 thinking / 2019 focus word all on my to-do list!! 🙂
Take care and have a lovely rest of your week.xx
