5 Signs You’re A Spoonie Warrior – Just For Giggles Infographic

by InvisiblyMe

You’re A Spoonie Warrior !

I don’t tend to use the ‘spoon’ terminology in my blog, but today I thought I would. Just for a lighter touch, I made up an infographic on 5 things those dealing with chronic illness and/or chronic pain might know all too well. Here’s the Spoonie Warrior Infographic – Any of these sound familiar?

Hah, I’m sure they apply to various people, such as how loving PJs has no criteria, pajamas are just wonderful! Thanks for the comment 🙂

I don’t tend to use Spoonie vocab either but I love this. You know, this week I found myself planning for a nap two days in advance. Crazy!

Dunno where you are, Cate, but indeed we don’t use it here in Los Angeles either — here it might mean a sleeping position when one has a partner LOL — either way, Cat, this is another great post. we all are a bit frail at some point in our lives <3

That’s what I thought when I first came across the whole ‘spoon’ / ‘spoonie’ thing, a sleeping position! It’s gained quite a lot of popularity but I don’t know that I like it too much, thought I’d just try it out once for the infographic at least (less space taken up by text to put ‘spoonie’ than ‘chronic illness’…! Thank you, I’m glad you liked the post 🙂

Aw, I might have to start doing the same, stretching it from one to two days in advance sometimes! I’m sorry you know these things all too well, but I’m glad you liked the post 🙂

I love it, This is very interesting. I didn’t say “yes” to all of them. Is it good or bad? 🙂

If you can say no to some of these that’s good, Miriam! But do you enjoy PJ shopping? That’s always good in my books 🙂

Lol. I don’t know what a spoonie warrior is, but I love the infographic. Thankfully it only applies to a limited extent in my case,, but I have a close friend with chronic lung disease for whom I’m sure it would be spot on.

I’m glad these only apply in a limited fashion for you, Nick. Though I don’t think there’s anything wrong with owning ample pajamas and enjoying shopping for them! I’m sorry about your friend, I do hope he/she is getting the best care possible.. Thank you for the comment 🙂
