Monday’s Inspirational Quote

“She cried. She screamed. She fell apart. Then she gathered the broken pieces & got back up to fight a new day”.

It’s okay to break, to fall apart, to cry. Experience everything you feel, don’t push it away. Then, when you’re ready, gather those beautiful broken pieces and get back up, ready to fight for a better tomorrow.

I love this one Caz! It’s good for the soul to cry, scream, and get it all out. Then, as you said here, we gather up the broken pieces and keep fighting. I hope you’re doing better with your recovery and that you have a lovely week.

I’m glad you liked it! Crying and being okay with not being okay is good for the soul, we just need to remember that we’ve gathered the broken pieces before and we can do it again, that we can and will fight for a new day, even when it seems so hard. I am doing a little better post-op, thank you; I’ve had a bad couple of weeks as I’ve not doing so good with body pain, exhaustion and migraines, so I’ll focus instead on being grateful that the surgery itself seems to have gone well! I hope you’re doing okay Terri and that the week is kind to you ????

I have done this many times too. It’s all we can do. Giving up and throwing in the towel is never an option.

Have a fabulous day, my friend. ♥

I think it’s important to know it’s okay to not be okay, and that we’ve survived before and can do so again when we next find ourself in those times of struggle. Thank you for the comment – Have a good week! 🙂

Yes… get back up! Sometimes it is hard to do, and sometimes we need a little push, but we should always find a way to get back up again. Thank you for this note of inspiration.

I think that when we’re struggle we can forget that we’ve done it before, that we’ve overcome struggles and put the pieces together in the past and that we can do it again, even though it may seem so hard to do. It’s what makes us stronger. I’m glad you liked the post – thank you for the great comment! Have a good week, Christy xx

Indeed – it’s a good view to have, of accepting the imperfect, and the impermanence of things.

Amen. There are times when a good cry helps me. Praying and knowing God is with me is truly a blessing.

This was amazing Caz! I think we have all done this many times even if some do not want to admit it. I can tell you I have had these battles with myself more times than I can count, but I do get back up to fight through another day. Sometimes I think little mini breakdowns help us let out emotions that are drowning our minds, but maybe I am wrong about that. Thank you for this fabulous quote Caz! I have told you many times how absolutely incredible you are and I stand by that!!!!

I think we can get used to the cycle of falling apart, brushing ourselves off and getting back up, but each time it happens it’s still just as easy to forget what we’ve survived and overcome before. It’s good to remind ourselves that it’s okay to struggle or to cry and not feel the facing the world, but that we can get back up when we’re ready and be stronger for it. I like that – letting out some of the emotions that drown our minds, I think that’s a good way of seeing it because I’d agree. I don’t know about incredible, but I’m certainly someone who’s fallen apart enough times to know the broken pieces can be put back together even when you don’t think it’s possible. Thank you so much for the lovely comment, I’m glad you liked the post  ♥
Have a good week lovely xx

This is exactly what I needed to hear as I’m going through a very difficult time at the moment. This is so true. I now know it’s OK to cry. Crying actually releases hormones, one of them being prolactin I ‘m pretty sure which lower stress.
I have experienced this many times and felt like I was weak but what do I have to do. Pick myself back up and start a new day and keep fighting.
Living with a chronic condition is a daily battle.

You’re right, it’s a daily battle. I’m sorry you’re struggling at the moment; at difficult times, it can be hard to remember that we’ve overcome awful times before, that we’ll survive this, that there can be brighter days ahead. You’re entitled to feel however you feel, whether that’s crying and sadness, or frustration and fear, and as you say crying can be helpful in releasing a little of what’s linked to stress. Hang in there. Sendings hugs.x

Bravo. Well done Caz <3 That is we all have to do. Giving up is not something that is in my agenda. I have been bouncing back over and over again and quite good at it. Keep going. Thanks for the shout out 🙂 <3

I’m a bouncer too, hitting the low and thinking I’ll never come back up but it’s good to remember that we’ve overcome difficult times in the past and we can do it again, that it’s okay to not be okay without pushing ourselves or feeling guilty for not wanting to face the world for a while. Glad you liked the post and thank you for the comment – Have a lovely weekend 🙂
