Child’s Farm Moisturiser: A Miracle for Sensitive Skin?

by InvisiblyMe

Do You Have Sensitive Skin, Psoriasis or Eczema?

A story hit the news recently of a woman who discovered a budget moisturiser to cure her psoriasis. In the article, which you can read here, she claims the children’s cream resulted in the psoriasis disappearing, and since then others have also credited the cream for working wonders on their skin. For adults and children alike with conditions like eczema and psoriasis, there are a lot of more harsh prescription lotions and milder over the counter remedies available, but few people find relief and spend years trying countless products.

Child’s Farm Baby Moisturiser Cream

Could the Childs Farm Shea & Cocoa Butter Baby Moisturiser cream be worth trying? It certainly seems like it’s worth a shot given the countless glowing reviews, especially as it’s only £3.99 for 250ml.

The Child's Farm baby moisturiser. It's a tall bottle with push down pump dispenser.
An effective budget moisturiser for adults & babies to remedy eczema & sooth sensitive skin.

Childs Farm is an award-winning brand and this particular shea & cocoa butter moisturiser is designed to be light and gentle, suitable for babies (and us bigger kids!) with eczema prone or sensitive skin. Caring for dry skin is important for everyone, but those with sensitive skin conditions might benefit from something kinder like this. Users rate it for smelling pleasant, being non-greasy, and leaving skin feeling much softer, smoother and healthier.

The moisturiser can be used on the body, face, hands and feet to soothe, restore and repair skin, increasing moisture and reducing irritation when used twice a day.

It contains more than 98% naturally derived ingredients, it’s clinically and dermatologically tested & approved, and it’s free from the likes of artificial colours, SLSs and parabens.

You only need a little each time so it should last well, making it good value for money. It gets a 4.5 / 5 star rating on the Boots site, where people are scrambling to pick them up because they’re selling out in stores. Of course, it won’t be a miracle cure for everyone, but as a budget alternative it certainly seems like it’s worth trying. I hope this can help someone out there reading this.

You can pick this up from Boots online for £3.99 for 250ml. Free order online & collect in store.

It’s worth a try for all of us. I’m not liking what I’m using right now.

Have a fabulous day. ♥

I’ve ordered one to collect for myself (don’t have eczema but do have sensitive skin and so-called ‘stress rashes’) – If you are able to give this a try, I hope it can help and be better than your current product 🙂

Thanks for this Caz, my eczema has really been flaring up on my hands, I think because of the weather. Definitely worth trying! Xx

The weather can definitely be a trigger for problem skin among other things. I really hope this stuff can help if you do give it a try 🙂

I didn’t link to the US sites because the prices seemed ridiculous, but they are available to import. For instance, on Amazon here – http://amzn.to/2pwP40m

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve known a few people with eczema and honestly the struggle is reminding them to use a cream – they’ve not had success in the past and so tend not to use anything now, just scratching the skin raw instead 🙁

Ouch – I can see why regular moisturising can be difficult though, especially if it’s on your body rather than something a little easier to manage like your hands (especially in the cold weather, when you don’t want to be without lots of layers to apply moisturiser). I hope the cream can help others as it’s certainly getting a positive rep from lots of users at the moment. I think it’s worth a try at this price and for being more natural, as I’m often sceptical of the higher priced, fancy-sounded products out there! x

I will have to let my daughter know about this. One of her kids gets eczema really bad. Thank you for this information.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed it can help your daughter’s child – it gets some really positive reviews & at under a fiver it’s worth a try as I can imagine eczema being difficult to live with. x

tbh most cleansing products for children are actually better for your skin as they have less chemicals in and make your skin super smooth! xxx
