Whatever you have going on in your life right now, and whatever you’re up to tomorrow, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. I hope you are able to find some enjoyment, compassion, peace and laughter on the day itself and in the days to follow.
If you are struggling, please remember that you are not alone and that this too shall pass. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, then I hope you have a positive end to 2017 and are ready to welcome in a brighter 2018.
Try to pace yourself over Christmas – it’s hard enough dealing with a chronic, invisible illness at the best of times, and even more so when it’s busy and filled with expectations. Take little breaks throughout the day, listen to your body, and be assertive in tending to what you need. And don’t forget a few chuckles, because laughter works wonders!
Thank you for reading – I appreciate each and every one of you. Have a wonderful time and I’ll catch up with you soon!
