Black Friday Bargains Anyone?

I’m more than a little sceptical when it comes to deals, but there are a few to be had at the moment. Here are just a couple I’ve spotted for health, life and wellness with invisible illness.

Wilko Deals

Wilko have various offers at the moment, and it’s free to order and collect in store to save a delivery charge.

Check out the Remington Ionic Hairdryer at £15 (down from £35!) Ionic dryers and straighteners can help with the condition of your hair, which is an important thing for me how it’s become drier and thinner over time with being unwell.

Something Different  –  Audio Books

1 month free if you’re a Prime member on Amazon. Or get three months at half price!

A Treat

Superdrug have a host of Black Friday offers, with special prices for Superdrug Card holders. The DKNY EDT 50ml set looks gorgeous – £18 down from £38.

For the guys, there’s the likes of Diesel at half price. Only The Brave is now £42 (down from £84).

Make Your Dentist Happy

There are lots of offers to be had on electric toothbrushes. One of the best is probably Amazon’s Oral-B Pro 2500 at £30 (RRP £79.99). This has the upgraded battery for better life after it’s been charged.

Books, Glorious Books!

The Book Depository has really good prices all year round, but they have some special deals at the moment. Delivery is also free with no minimum spend. Books are such a sanctuary for me, I don’t know how I’d cope without them!

Electric Deals

And of course there are electric deals. I’ll include these two because the Echo Dot can be useful if you’re low on spoons, while the tablet can be easier to hold than a mobile and give you some entertainment when you’re not able to get out and about.

The Fire 7 tablet is now £29.99 (usual price £49.99).

Meanwhile, the new Echo Dot is just £34.99 (usual price £49.99)

Have you bagged yourself any Black Friday week deals?

They’re pretty good, I love browsing on there & knowing it’s free to get them delivered after I find far too many to choose just one! Hope you enjoy them when you receive them 🙂

I bagged me a seat on the couch, with a heating blanket wrapped around my legs and feet hahaha but I wish everyone all the black Friday deals that they can carry 😉

    • November 23, 2017 / 5:44 pm

That sounds like a good shopping alternative! 🙂

Great deals! I have never thought of the book depository, I’ll have a look now 🙂 xx

I find them to be pretty good as they have a varied selection, it’s easy to browse & find what you’re looking for, prices are good and p&p is free (I practically refuse to pay P&P anymore!) Happy browsing 🙂
      Thanks for the comment xx

I just completely ignore Black Friday as I’m always abit sceptical about it! These are all really good deals though so thank you for sharing. 🙂 I got that toothbrush last year in one of the sales for that price and it is actually really good! 🙂 xxx

Yes, I’ve noticed prices don’t seem to go down over the years in these sales; they’re either the same or they go up despite it being the same, now older, product! Glad it’s a good toothbrush though, it’s the one I’m thinking of getting as my battery one annoys the heck out of me with the batteries never lasting long enough. Thanks for the comment 🙂 xx

I love the idea of free audio books because I love listening to them at work/in the evening. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Must admit I’m not one for audio books but my mother quite likes them & I’ve come across a few people in the chronic illness community online that swear by them! 🙂

  6. November 24, 2017 / 11:37 pm

I’ve tried audio books and they’re a good alternative when I want to give my eyes a rest 😉 Thanks for the heads up about the deals!

    • November 26, 2017 / 12:51 pm

That’s true about giving your eyes a rest. Sometimes the act of reading can be quite tiring if you’re already exhausted, so I think they make a fab easer-going alternative. Thanks for stopping by to comment Christy, I hope you’re having a lovely weekend 🙂

Audio books are a great idea. I can’t survive without mine during my long commute to work.

    • November 26, 2017 / 12:50 pm

I’d imagine they’d be brilliant for work commutes. Thanks for the comment! 🙂

Well shared! I bought the last 4 feet tall Christmas tree that our local Wilko had in stock. It was massively reduced though sadly it wasn’t fully appreciated at home as it doesn’t take many decoratoions. It DOES give better access to my CD collection while it’s up than the previous 5 foot one did, though!

Good to see you look for a silver lining in any situation! 🙂
